Edward’s job is a bit like herding cats. He oversees all aspects of Aptus’ human resources needs: recruitment, retention, training, and benefits administration. Having studied at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, Edward spent many years in training/development, human resources and operations for such notable retailers as The Gap, Restoration Hardware, The Fresh Market and Starbucks. In his current role, he most enjoys “creating a culture where integrity, honesty and hard work create career paths for our employees.” When he’s not managing human resources, Edward likes to hike, scuba dive, snow ski, and read. Hopefully he’s not reading while diving or skiing.
